Fluxglove
We built FluxGlove, a custom-fabricated VR data glove and headset system designed to challenge the $3,500 Apple Vision Pro. Our ambition was to democratize spatial computing for under $60. We architected a full hardware stack from scratch—integrating flex sensors for 1:1 finger tracking and dual IMUs for 6DoF head/hand tracking. Despite critical hardware failures, I engineered a "Tethered VR" solution that processed analog inputs into digital HID commands with zero latency. The project secured a Top 12 finish (out of 290) and proved that accessibility doesn't require compromising on immersion.
